DAP makes import responsibility visible

The German buyer can incorporate its EORI, tariff classification and tax treatment directly into the import process. This can offer operational and accounting benefits for experienced importers.

Do not confuse delivery with unloading

DAP generally provides delivery ready for unloading at the named place; unloading is not automatically the seller’s responsibility. Access, tail lift, time windows and unloading assistance should be agreed beforehand.

We coordinate pickup, origin operations, main transport and delivery, and align import clearance with the named importer and customs participants.

Customs and document charges

Service-provider fees, official charges and import duties are three different cost types. Customs duty and import VAT are never silently included in a service flat rate.
